OK, so it wasn’t blistering hot as it has been the past few days.
Instead, golfers from Bentonville and Rogers High had to deal with some tough wind during Tuesday’s match at Lost Springs Golf & Athletic Club.
Add to that the cloud cover that dominated the sky, and it almost became dark before a bunch of the girls finished playing their nine-hole round.
But I’m not complaining. The cooler temperature was enough to make my first golf match this season a pleasant experience. I’m hoping for more of the same the next time around.
