Springdale Har-Ber senior linebacker/rover Hunter Kissinger (6-3, 197) received a bit of good news around 8 a.m. this morning when he was offered his first Division I-A football scholarship offer. The offer came from Louisiana-Monroe.
Kissinger was Har-Ber’s third leading tackler as a junior, with 84 stops in 2009 for a Wildcats team which finished 12-1 and won the class 7A state championship. One of five returning starters on defense this season, Kissinger figures to be one of the top linebackers in the 7A-West Conference in 2010.
