Rogers Heritage Rolls In Florida Tournament

Zac Stewart went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs to lead Rogers Heritage to a big 15-1 win over St. John Neumann of Naples, Fla., on Wednesday to close pool play in the Florida League Invitational high school baseball tournament.
Blake Baxendale, Colten Tedford and Dalton McKaughan had two hits each, while Hunter Wood drove in two and Reed Brown scored three times for the War Eagles (9-2).
Heritage will have the day off Thursday, then participate in championship play on Friday in the tournament, which is being played in a suburb of Orlando.
Tedford picked up the win with four scoreless innings. He allowed three hits, struck out three and did not walk a batter. Jayme Lovelace pitched the final three innings, allowing a run on five hits.
