Per the new Monday ritual, here’s the latest recruiting news from Friday’s game between Mills and Sylvan Hills:
For Sylvan Hills, there are actually suitors after more than just Archie Goodwin (which obviously isn’t the case anymore, either.) Here are a few names to remember through this season and the next few.
Drew Pearson: The Bears big man has offers interest from some Division II schools, including Drury University and Southwest Baptist, as well as Ouachita Baptist. He doesn’t have any offers yet, but has taken a visit to OBU and is expecting to see the interest pick-up with a big season.
Dion Patton: The Bears’ point guard has interest from Arkansas-Fort Smith, Arkansas-Little Rock as well as some smaller schools. He’s got a year or so before the offers can start rolling in.
Mills has a lone college prospect right now.
Braylon Spicer: The Mills’ senior point guard is hearing from Arkansas-Pine Bluff a lot and has recently gotten interest from Harding and Hendrix. No offers, but Spicer’s recent play could bring some soon.
