Former Rogers High and Auburn offensive tackle Lee Ziemba is currently in Atlanta preparing for the NFL Draft at Competitive Edge Sports. He is training with former Auburn center Ryan Pugh, former Virginia Tech quarterback Tyrod Taylor and former Alabama offensive lineman James Carpenter. Receiver Graham Parker has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules. Mounties coach Shawn Flannigan said he could not comment because of student privacy rights. Parker also played QB when the Mounties switched to the Dead-T.

Receiver Trevor Hampton injured a knee during special teams practice Tuesday and is out for at least 4 weeks. Running back Diego Rojas will move into Hampton’s spot when the Mounties are in the spread offense. Rogers also runs out of the Dead-T but the staff wasn’t sure who would replace Hampton at tight end.
