Springdale High clicked on all cylinders Tuesday night in a controlled scrimmage at Siloam Springs. The sophomore and junior varsity players played about 40 plays before the varsity players for both teams played two 12-minutes quarters. Springdale High assistant football coach Eli Drinkwitz resigned his position Thursday afternoon, he told the Springdale Morning News. Drinkwitz, who was Springdale’s offensive line coach and offensive coordinator the last three seasons, accepted a job Wednesday morning with Auburn University.
